Abstract
KOTA SAMARAHAN: Since its inception 63 years ago, Univesititi Teknologi Mara (UiTM) has maintained its status as a prominent higher education institution (IPT) in the country. Throughout that time, the institution sucessfully generated over 800,000 graduates in diverse professions who made significant contributions to the country's progress and people's socioeconomic well being. Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar, Pro Chancellor of UiTM, stated, "Based on this achievement, this institution is commited to continuing to strive to produce highly skilled graduates to meet the job market". UiTM is now ranked 13th in the QS Asia University Ranking 2019, up 21 places from last year.
