Abstract
This paper presents the system of buck-converter control the speed of DC motor. The comparative assessments are presented with PI-type controller which is Proportional-Integral Controller and FLC which is Fuzzy Logic Controller as control strategies. This PI-type and FLC control strategies are the techniques projected in this research to control the speed of a DC motor. The simulation (MATLAB Simulink) is started with driven DC motor using buck-converter modeling and then is by add up those two controllers as control strategies. The objective of the simulation is to compose the dynamic system from buck-converter and derived in the state-space forms. The simulation results are presented in terms of input tracking capability, angular velocity response and armature current response in examined performances of the control speed.
