Abstract
The course provides the student with necessary knowledge of the anatomical and physiological aspects of the human body for application in their respective areas of study. The course covers the nervous system, sensation, special senses, endocrine, respiratory, digestive, urinary; inclusive of body fluids, electrolytes and acid base balance and reproductive systems. The homeostatic mechanisms are emphasized in all the systems covered in this course.
