Abstract
The course provides the student with necessary knowledge of the anatomical and physiological aspects of the human body for application in their respective areas of study. The course covers basic cellular and tissue structures, their properties and functions. It also covers the structures and functions of the integumentary, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and lymphatic systems. The homeostatic mechanisms are emphasized in all the systems covered in this course.
