Abstract

Summary of the articles: “Digital Preservation of Audio, Video and Tape” and “The Public-Private Partnership Case Study in Digitization of Audiovisual Heritage”

Digitization is one of the best way used for preserve the audiovisual materials. The preservation process need to follow the guideline or procedure that provided by the organization. The best practice of preservation audiovisual collections by following the procedure. Audiovisual is one of the special records which are important to preserve and conserve in order to make it available for long term period. The huge amount of information on audiovisual should keep in good condition. There are three categories of media that had been discussed in this paper which are audio, video and tape that need to keep. In order to preserve the audiovisual almost 70 percent the materials and tools are need.
