Abstract

This study is conducted in UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve at Base Line: line 11-20. The main objective of this study are to determine the distribution of Keruing Merah (Dipterocarpus verrucosus), Keruing Gombang (Dipterocarpus cornutus), Keruing Mempelas (Dipterocarpus crinitus), and Keruing Kipas (Dipterocarpus costulatus). We use inventory method where we measured 10 meters (5m right and left) and it length 575 meter (line 11-20). It means the forets areas that we studied for line 11-20 are 10 m x 575 m. from we study we were found 29 for Keruing Merah, 2 for Keruing Gombang, 13 for Keruing Mempelas, and 5 for Keruing Kipas. Keruing Merah is the most found in the UiTM JFR because easily growth in lowland and exposed to sunlight. From this area there had found 49 number of individual.
