Abstract

This study is conducted in UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve at Base Line 1: Line 1 to Line 5 and Line 11 to Line 15. The main objectives of this study are to determine the distribution of Scaphium spp. (Kembang Semangkuk) and Barringtonia spp. (Putat). The methodology of study measured 10m (5m right and left) along the line. The forest area that we were studied is 10% from the overall of this forest. From the research, the total numbers of individual that were found was 27 which Scaphium spp. (6 individuals) and Barringtonia spp. (21 individuals). The numbers of individual that dominated from this species are from dbh 5 to 14 cm with 20 individuals followed by category of dbh 15 to 30cm with 4 individuals, >45 cm with 3 individuals and the lowest is 30 to 45 cm with no individual was found.
