Abstract
This course focuses on the types of ethnic textiles and costumes made/used by various ethnic groups in Malaysia. It commands observation of designs, materials and processes involved in the making of the products. At this level, it is crucial for the students to be able to recognize and differentiate the textiles through visual images being presented in class and visits to textile museums and galleries.
