Abstract
On 17th May 2024, the School of Information Science successfully hosted the insightful online webinar "Excuse Me, Your Privacy is Showing!". The event, which took place from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, was expertly moderated by Dr. Hajah Imilia Ibrahim, Senior Lecturer from the College of Computing, Informatics, and Mathematics. It featured a presentation by Mr. Ridzwan Ahmad Mohd Fathil, an executive from the Outreach Department of Cyber Security Malaysia. This webinar, a key component of the Collaborative Group: Collaborative Teaching (CGCT) module for the Social Media Literacy (IMD164) course, marked an important milestone in our commitment to integrate academic learning with industry expertise. It provided valuable insights and practical advice on navigating the complex landscape of social media privacy.
