PMA514 : Advanced offset lithography / College of Creative Arts

This course will discuss the advance concept and offset lithography process and technology. Students will learn the differences of process method between sheet-fed and web-fed offset in application of the process to produce a good offset printing product. Students will explore the technology of producing an item of offset such as plate and film before send it to the press. The introductory of quality standard in graphic arts (printing technology) and process control in offset lithography also will a key topic in this course. Knowledge of computer to…. technologies also will be a topic for the student in order to understand a direction and future trends in offset lithography printing process and technology.
