Abstract

A research was done to study the distribution of Ludai species and Pulai species in UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve (UiTMJFR). This study area is about 269.34 acre and contain seven logging road. The method of study used is 10 meter from left and 10 meter from right in each logging road. A total of total Pulai species and Ludai species has been found is categorized based on range height and range diameter breast height (DBH) more than 5 cm and above. In this study, the total amount of Pulai and Ludai species were found are 53 trees with 2 trees respectively. There were Ludai species (Sapium baccatum) Pulai (Alstonia angustiloba) .In this study; it was found UiTMJFR suitable for plantation because it easily growth in lowland and expose to sunlight.
