This study was carried out to study types of hardware and the application for office furniture. From the search and reading, the categories of hardware can divide into three fastener, connector and accessories or gadget. This library research described the common hardware that applies in every part of office furniture. It also describes the specific for all types of hardware. It also suggested the best hardware to use in several types of office furniture. Nail, screws, bolt, nut, and washer are the most popular fastener use in office furniture, for connector such as card frames and corners and accessories or gadgets they used handle or pull, escutcheons, caster and drawer slides. The first factor that must to consider when want to apply in any furniture was functional.
