Abstract

The UiTMJFR is a forest reserve in Pahang with about 250 acres. This study was recorded the distribution of Mahang Kapur (Macaranga hypoleuca) and Sesendok (Endospermum diadenum) in UiTMJFR at logging road area. UiTMJFR has much type of pioneer species, but we decided to choose two from them because of timing constraint. In this study it was found 18% and 82% for Mahang Kapur and Sesendok respectively. Sesendok is the most found in UiTM Jengka because it easily growth in lowland and expose to sunshine. This survey also to study a suitable of height and diameter of trees growth at logging area.
