Abstract
Desa Recipes, established in January 2012 and headquartered in Sungai Petani, Kedah, is a company renowned for its wide array of traditional snacks and cookies. With a dedication to preserving Malaysia's rich culinary heritage, the company crafts authentic treats that evoke nostalgic flavors of local delicacies. Its flagship product, Bahulu, a soft and fluffy traditional Malaysian sponge cake is meticulously prepared in-house by the owner, Abdul Hakim, using time-honored recipes lo ensure exceptional quality and taste. Recently, Desa Recipes introduced Gebu Desa, a modern twist on Bahulu. Known as Bahulu Donut Pusing, this innovative treat comes in three flavors: Asli, Pelangi, and Buch. Packaged in vibrant, color coded designs, it's not only a delicious snack but also a perfect gift for open houses, festive celebrations, and special occasions. Beyond its irresistible taste and creative packaging, Gebu Deso carries a deeper emotional significance. True to its name, meaning "Village Fluff," the product is designed to transport people back to the warmth and simplicity of village life.
