Development of outdoor activities website / Nur Ain Norisam

This research project is about developing a web-based system for outdoor activities. The purpose of developing a web-based platform is because it allows the user to access by the web or mobile device. The responsive layout will follow the screen size of devices and easy for the user to access it. This system will be used by Pakis Rimba SDN BHD for running their business. Currently, Pakis Rimba run their business manually and Facebook as a platform to promote their services and communicate with the customer. In addition, they use a log book to keep the record booking and that causes the overlooking from the staff when they do not have a proper system. Because of that, the booking list either redundant or overlaps with the previous booking. Therefore, by developing this system can improve the daily works more efficient and systematic. The user can check by own the available date and activity, make a booking through the system instead of call the administrator to know the available date and activities. People who love to do the outdoor activities and love with nature are the target user for this system because they will find the place through the website to know the details provided service and the feedback from the previous customer to show which level of satisfaction about the company. The methodology used in the development of this project is Web Development Life Cycle (WDLC). For the future enhancement, this project can include the payment method to establish and notification to notify the administrator when the booking had to be done.
