A Centralized Mobile Application FYP Retrieval Using QR-Code is to ease the CSP650 lecturer, supervisor and students of UiTM. Every semester in UiTM, the final year students are facing difficulties when doing their Final Year Project (FYP). They are having problem to search for previous FYP which have been done by their senior. As a result, the final year students have to make appointment with their CSP650 lecturer or supervisor just to look for the Final Year Project. Aside from making appointment, the students have the other option which is by going to the UiTM library to search for Final Year Project. This is troublesome for some students as they do not have transport to go to the library. The student who does not have transport especially those who live outside of the UiTM may need to use other alternative such as borrow their friend’s vehicle such as car and motorcycle. Furthermore, as for the CSP650 lecturer and supervisor, they have no systematic way of storing their supervisees’ Final Year Project. The data that have been kept could be lost or misplaced. The objective of this project is to design a mobile application which will display the overview of the FYP project using QR-code. The application also can give the users optional whether he or she want to download the Final Year Project. Secondly, to develop a centralized repository which will manage the data or detail of the Final Year Project. Lastly, to test the functionality in terms of the mobile application’s usability to the test user; students UiTM. As for the guideline for this project, Agile method is being implemented. It consists of 5 phases which are communication, planning, modelling, construction, modelling and deployment. Hence, it is hopefully that this mobile application can meet the objectives of this project.
