Abstract

Eco-friendly sanitary napkins designed for flood victims in temporary evacuation centers provide a sustainable solution for menstrual hygiene in challenging conditions. Made from biodegradable materials, these pads minimize environmental impact while offering comfort and safety. Their compact, foldable design makes them easy to store and transport, ensuring accessibility for diverse users, including adolescent girls, pregnant women, and women with disabilities. The packaging is crafted using spice-infused materials such as turmeric, neem, or cloves, known for their antibacterial and antifungal properties. These natural preservatives help maintain the hygiene of the pads in humid and crowded environments while offering additional health benefits. This innovative approach eliminates the need for synthetic chemicals, aligning with sustainable practices and supporting women’s well-being. By integrating eco-conscious materials with practical design, these sanitary napkins promote sustainable menstrual hygiene awareness. They provide a dignified, reliable solution for women in emergencies, addressing both personal and environmental health needs effectively.
