Abstract
Recently, Muslim people have travelled around the world include the Muslim countries and non-Muslim countries. Because of that information is needed and most of the Muslim travellers are seeking the information especially information on Muslim friendly travel. A few of travel agencies have provided this information on the website. However, there is still a problem where scarcity of information on Muslim friendly travel because the information is limited. Social media is one of source information but information or data in social media is unstructured data which is hard to analyze. To more understanding in Muslim friendly travel, there are criteria that represent Muslim friendly travel. Thus, the study proposes an application that can visualize Muslim friendly travel’s location from Twitter in a graphically and interactive form. The proposed application will be developed using Rapid Application Development (RAD) and text analytic method. Text analytic method used in this project is bigrams which is find the combination of word ‘halal’. To identify the tweet that represent Muslim friendly, the bigram of word ‘halal’ will be compared with the list of criteria. In conclusion, the information about Muslim friendly travel can be visualized clearly using world map designed for helping Muslim travellers and travel agencies in decision making.
