Talk series at Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah, Behrang, Perak / Rofiza Aboo Bakar

On October 4. 2024, Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah. Behrang. Perak, organised a talk series aimed at enhancing students’ academic and professional skills. Associate Professor Dr. Rofiza Aboo Bakar. from the Academy of Language Studies. Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Pulau Pinang. was invited as a guest speaker for the event. The sessions, attended by engineering undergraduates and their supervisors, focussed on three crucial topics: Introduction to Literature Review. Elements Needed in Abstract Writing, and Presentation Skills for Engineering Undergraduates. The first session. Introduction to Literature Review, introduced students to the fundamentals of analysing and synthesising academic resources. It was emphasised that identifying gaps in research, organising information effectively, and maintaining a critical approach to literature were essential. The session provided participants with a structured framework to approach this important academic task.
