Abstract
The study was done to study the distribution of Croton spp which have diameter breast height (dbh) more than 5 cm in UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve. The study plot is about 500 m x 10 m in Base Line 1: Line 1 - Line 5 (0.5 hectare with the percentage 0.46% of the whole areas of UiTM Jengka Forest Reserve) and include also logging road. Found that, the dbh between 5 cm - 14 cm represent 62 individuals in Lines and 80 individuals in logging road which are the dominant species. The dominant category for both area studied is small pole category which the diameter breast height (dbh) is between 5 cm to 14 cm with 142 individuals (91.6% of the whole individuals recorded) followed by the big pole category which have a girth more than 15 cm and less than 30 cm with 10 individuals in Lines and only 3 individuals in logging road. This because of the sunlight factor which individuals in logging road get enough sunlight compared to individuals in Lines which have crown competition with the other commercial trees.
