E-activity announcement system / Nur Syahira Mohamad Sobri

The current event's advertisement in campus is inefficient as club's society has to print up poster and post it in the notice board and hang banners in order to get attention from the students regarding the event that they held. Therefore, I proposed a new method of advertising the event, namely E-Activity Announcement System. By using previous advertising method, it sometimes can lead to problem. For example, students are not alert with the poster posted on the notice board and they only know about the event from their friend. Thus, it can lead to inaccurate data and they are not clear about the details of the event. In this project, I develop a system that can update the details of event and also display the poster. E-Activity Announcement System is designed to help fasten information's delivery about the event to students. This system will use emails push notification to announce user or students about upcoming event so that student can acknowledge earlier than usual. This system not only focus on student but also for advisor and committee of the club. They just need to update the new event in this system then student will get the updated information. Methodology that is used in this project is waterfall model that consist six phases which are requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance phase. Hopefully this system will be able to help student to know about the event that will held timely and also make club's society advertise their upcoming event easily.
