Abstract

Masyair Operation is the most important part in Hajj rituals. It has lot of information that need to be memorize such as doa, pillars, steps, ban and more. Understanding and imagining every steps in the rituals is the hardest part for pilgrims especially for the first timer and most of the elderly pilgrims. With the help of technologies nowadays, the complexity in the operation can be minimized. One of the techniques that can benefit from information of the Hajj ritual this problem is by creating a teaching tool not only focusing on content but also help in understanding important. This study found that a teaching tool needs to apply various multimedia elements. This study adapt the Cognitive Learning Theory for the content and ADDIE model for development methodology. Based on Week 10 in Hajj Course this study was inspired to develop a tool that can assist pilgrims in performing Hajj peacefully. This study involve adults as target user. It is found that 70% user are able to understand the content but after using the prototype, the percentage increase to 10%. For difficulties, using the prototype is easier with 70% than using slide-based which 40% is. Based on the result shows that most of the users enjoy using the prototype with 70% rather than using slide-based which at Medium and Bore level. As a result, it can help pilgrims understanding the Masyair Operation further.
