Abstract

Inventory Management System is important to ensure quality control in businesses that handle transactions revolving around consumer goods. Without proper inventory management, an organization may run out of stock on an important item. An inventoiy management system also helps to provide valuable information about store profits. The system implements just in time theory to monitor their product and prevent from a surplus of goods in stock. The problem that recognizes when the staff need to record the products detail manually. Then the retailer needs to submit their order through the email or message the staff. The system was developed by following adapted Waterfall Model of SDLC. In addition, two additional phases which are preliminary study and documentation were added to ensure the project will achieve all the specified objectives. A set of questionnaires has been prepared for users and experts to test the functionality and usability of the system. In the future, it is hoped that this inventory management system can be improved to allow wider participation of customers of die agent.
