Abstract
Accident Emergency System (ACCES) is a mobile android application that help the victim when they are in emergency situation especially accident. This system is dividing into three modules that are client side, server side and hospital and police station side. ACCES is a helpful application because it provided services which can help the accident victim when they need help. There are four services that ACCES offered that are ‘Request Ambulance’, ‘Location Finder’, ‘Request Address Nearest Hospital’ and ‘List of Hospital/Police Station’. This thesis will focus on server side module. The main reason why ACCES system is developed is because of the weakness of existing system for example MERS 999. MERS 999 is a helpful system but it takes longer time to reach the victim/accident location. In the current system, if there are reports about accident, the call center or operator will ask a lot of questions to the witness such as the location detail and more. Furthermore, the record that the operator got from the user will manually record or typing in the database. In some of cases, the operator mistyped the data received from the caller and the ambulance will be sent to the wrong location. Due to these weaknesses, Accident Emergency System via Android (ACCES) is introduced. The objective for the server side is to design a system that can provide details about the nearest hospital in a short time. The methodology used during the development of the system is agile methodology, where it is organized according to four phases which are design, development, testing and documentation phase. As the result, this system can improved the performance of the existing emergency system and can help the accident victim to get an ambulance immediately.
