Abstract
The inadequate number of affordable rental houses in Malaysia has been an acute problem faced by local and international citizen. With the constant growing number of population and economy of Malaysia, difficulties in searching for desired house are more intense. Often, problem occurs when tenant lost the opportunity to rent the house due to the delay on making an agreement with the owner. As for the owner, inconsistency of advertisement reliability reduce potential tenants interest. Thus, one of the solution to this problem is to have a platform that can associate both potential tenant and owner. In this research a preliminary study have been conducted by planning the step to take in the research; making an analysis on the information collected; designing the system structure and flow; develop the system using HTML5 and MySQL and lastly testing the system functionality and getting users feedback. Testing is done by adopting black box technique. A survey has been conducted with 20 respondents to gather feedback and satisfaction. From the survey, 80 percent of the respondents are satisfied with the design and developed system. In conclusion, the system developed can helps renting process and act as a platform that ease tenant and owner rental activities.
