Abstract
With the new era of technology advance today, learning can be improved and delivered in more creative and effective way. Nowadays, many children not interested in reading book because now the technologies are very developed. For example, development on gadget have influence them more than other thing where it be as an up to date trend. In this project, courseware approach have been chosen for the learning basic tajweed for primary school children. Learning basic tajweed for aged between seven until ten years old is a learning process using courseware which contain about tajweed focusing on Mad Asli. This courseware approach is to help the teachers in their teaching and for the student to understand more on what they have learned. Besides that, it aims to motivate students in learning basic tajweed. Based on the user testing for effectiveness, this project shows 84% of successes rate increase from 46% from the pre and post user testing. It also shows that the courseware attracting the children to learn tajweed and trigger them to explore more about tajweed; Mad Asli that highlighted in this project. Thus, this type of educational software should be introduced to attract the interest from the students to learn tajweed. In conclusion, this project; Motivating Primary School Children in Learning Basic Tajweed (Mad Asli) has been successfully achieved the objective.
