Abstract

Training and development separately is mainly two major things carry out different meaning. Training is basically known as an organisation activity which aims to improve an employee current performance. Narrowly focused on oriented towards short term performance (Snell&Bohlander, 2010) Whereby development both Snell &Bohlander define it as the employee tend to be oriented more toward broadening an individual’s skill for better future responsibility. Specifically, training and development known as the official and ongoing educational activity within an organization to enhance fulfillment and performance of employees. On the job training such as mentoring, job instruction training and apprenticeship training are the usual measure taking by the organization as it able to save time and also incurred less cost to conduct (Ruth Taylor et al., 2004 as cited in Raja et al.
2011).
