Abstract

The library search was carried out to study the common joint that use in cabinet making. From the search and reading, the basic types of wood joint will be known and also can determine the advantages and disadvantages of each joint. Joint is the art and craft of making things by joining pieces of wood, is at the very heart of woodworking. This library search will describe the common joint that applies in every part of cabinet. It also suggests the best joint to use in any woodworking. Rabbet, Dadoes and grooves joint are the most popular joint use in cabinet making. The strength of joint is the first factor that must to consider when want to apply in any woodworking.
