Abstract
The relationship between fears of crime, criminal misconduct, the quality of life for local development is the level of increase is a concern by the public, traders and crime prevention practitioners. Individuals who have experience on the criminal behavior they will always feel safe when the road was in an empty, abandoned buildings and areas which were hidden from view. Therefore, Preventive Crime through Environmental Design CPTED implement by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur is a concept created to serve as a permanent guideline to be applied by professionals in the planning of an early stage of development. The public must also cooperate with the support of the government's intention to make the Taman Tun Dr. Ismail is a city safe from crimes in total. Design an effective and correct to the functions of environmental requirements will reduce crime and the fear that it will lead to a better quality of life. Therefore, cooperation is needed from government agencies, residents, and city planners, professional designers in identifying security issues to the public during the new construction or renovation in a dwelling.
