Abstract
Malaysia ranks among the best in the world for medical expertise and is becoming the preferred regional healthcare hub due to competitive medical charges and hospitalisation costs compared to those offered by many developed countries. Another consideration is, Malaysia offers a wide choice of state-of-the-art private medical centres and these establishments are well-equipped and staffed to serve the healthcare needs of people from all over the world. Foreigners that sought treatment in Malaysian private hospitals include patients from Indonesia, Japan, Europe, India, China, USA, Australia, Singapore and Korea.
