Abstract

This research is entitled 'A Study on the Freshmen Changing Social Context'. We have focused on 100 respondents. The respondents comprise of freshmen from all course offered in UiTM Kota Kinabalu. The instrument that we used in this research is by distribution of questionnaires to the respondents and as a result of this research; we have found out that the freshmen' social context are really change after they entering UiTM. According to the findings that we have obtained, the factors that influence the freshmen' social context are peers, lecturer, rules and regulation, college activities, orientation programme, environment in class and others factor which is maturity, religious activity and campus life.
