MUF509 : Performing groups III / College of Creative Arts

This course provides students with training and practical experience in performing groups such as orchestra, large/small ensemble or choir. Students will be assigned to appropriate groups according to their instrumental or vocal abilities. A variety of repertoire and performance styles will be explored. Students will apply instrumental/vocal techniques to produce quality performances and cohesive group sound as an outcome of collaborative interaction, performance practice and creative musical expression ( (For orchestra students it is compulsory to attend sectional classes) .
