MUF459 : Performing groups II / College of Creative Arts

This course provides students with training and practical experience in performing groups such as orchestra, large/small ensemble or choir. Students will be assigned to appropriate groups according to their instrumental or vocal abilities. A variety of repertoire and performance styles will be explored. Students will apply instrumental/vocal techniques to produce quality performances and cohesive group sound as an outcome of collaborative interaction, performance practice and creative musical expression (For orchestra students, it is compulsory to attend sectional classes) .
