MUF405 : Western art music history / College of Creative Arts

This course introduces the students to the history of music in the Western world specifically music from the liturgical and secular type. The period encompasses from approximately the 11th century to the present day. The students will be taught to understand the culture and evolution of the Western art music through works of composers represented in selected time period from the Middle-ages until 20th century.
