Inventory of non-dipterocarp forest trees in UiTM Forest Reserve, Jengka / Muhammad Suyuti Abdullah

This project included all the observation and recognition of the population of non dipterocarp that it found in Universiti Teknologi MARA Forest Reserve. This observation is to recognize the number of non-dipterocarp in the plot which decided. The data of the plant will be recorded which measured at Diameter Breath Height (DBH) 1.5m. Besides measuring the trees the recognition can be made characteristics of the leaves, stem, root and the flower of the plant. The population calculated by using quadrate method where quadration with 50m X 20m seizes. Besides that, we can know how the trees growing up with another species to survive. The objectives of the study were to examine the commercial standing trees of non-dipterocarp and the juvenile and adult population of non-dipterocarp trees in UiTM Forest Reserve, Jengka, Pahang. The trees are approximately 10m height and the diameters are about 12cm.
