Industrial training report: Library Tunku Tun Aminah Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) / Durratun Nazihah Arbani

Industrial training is important phase of a student life. A well planned, properly executed and evaluated industrial training helps a lot in developing a professional attitude. It developed an awareness of industrial approach to problem solving, based on a broad understanding of process and mode of operation of organization. The aim and motivation of this industrial training is to receive discipline, skills, teamwork, and technical knowledge through a proper training environment, which will help me, as a student in the field of Information Science, to develop a responsiveness of the self-disciplinary nature of problems in library management. During a period off ive (5) months training at Library Tunku Tun Aminah (PTTA), I was assigned to different unit for particular time. Despite that, I was able to learnt various of knowledge and develop new skill from each unit. This is because each unit in the library has their own particular role and responsibility. As a result, the little role that I play in library also gave an impact to the performance outcomes. Throughout this industrial training, I have been gained to adapt quickly in working environment with any kind of pressure and the most important is that I able to implement what I have learnt for the past year as a student's in Bachelor Degree of Information Science (Hons.) Library Management at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
