Abstract

Previous paper named Conceptual Paper of Successful Asnaf in Malaysia (Muslihah el, 2022), introducing the best practice for hybrid business innovation model (BIM), which has become the practice of the asnafpreneur in Malaysia. Therefore, further study was conducted to look at the opinion of Malaysia zakat officer toward Business Innovation Model and several variables such as Internal and External Successful Factors, Shariah Compliance, Digitalization and Agency Authorities in Malaysia. The study respondents are zakat officer throughout Malaysia that incharge of asnafpreneurs development. A total of 12 zakat officers were interviewed via the internet using a google form structured questionnaire. The list of zakat officers selected is based on 1 officer for 1 state. The results of the data collected were analyzed using the SPSS application using descriptive analysis. The results of the study found that all elements in the variables involved have a positive yes result accept for activities by wakaf department, majority said not applicable. This situation happen because the wakaf and zakat department is not same. Diferrent in their vision, mission, objectives and their activities.
