Abstract

Reason of this study is to examine the deteminants of commercial bank profitability in Malaysia. This analysis was also to investigate or likeable establish the effect of element such as return on assets, bank size, capital ratio, deposits ratio, liquidity ratio and other variables that affect the commercial bank profitability in Malaysia that had been listed under Bank Negara Malaysia. Information for this research were collecting data from the sampled commercial bank that related database from 2015 until 2021. In this research, return on assets is chosen as dependent variables. It is measured by its independent variable which bank size, capital ratio, deposits ratio and liquidity ratio. The E-views integrated program application would be used to validate and interpret the collected data. The study shows a positive relationship on the independent variables towards return on assets.
