Abstract

Antique product is an old item that hard to find because the amount of physical store is small which is below than five and there is no specific online platform that selling antique products. Yet, people prefer to buy things online because it is easy and save time. But there is a problem when buying things online such as people cannot view the whole appearance of the product. Therefore, this project is aimed to use Augmented Reality (AR) system as a platform that enable consumers to interact with the product through online. Interactive online shopping will help consumers to increase their shopping experience and retailers to increase their product sales. The aim of this project is to develop augmented reality on AntiqueLook: augmented reality in antique products online shop. This AntiqueLook was developed for the antique collectors who wants to purchase antique products through online. This application will allow the users to view the 3D model of antique product. For that, they can avoid from buying damage product. In addition, they can also interact with the 3D antique product by rotating and zooming the product to view the product closer. This project used the Mobile Application Development Lifecycle (MADLC) method to develop the AntiqueLook mobile application. The AntiqueLook application was developed using Android Studio, Unity, Java, XML and C#. This project will benefit the antique collectors with the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in online shopping will give the users a new shopping experience.
