Mengaji2u: learning Quran finder mobile application / Siti Aminah Zulkifli

Most of the private Quran classes is being advertise and can be find through social media platform such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. However, there is less mobile application that act as one-stop Islamic service where the Quranic teachers can advertise their services and solutions which helps the reciter to find private Quran class. Thus, the aim of this project is to create a mobile application for Quranic teachers to advertise their services and make it easier for the public to find private reciting classes. The objectives for this project are to identify user requirements, to design and to develop Mengaji2U learning Quran finder mobile application. The scope of this project is certified Islamic Quranic teachers and users residing in Johor Bahru city. The methodology used is Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC) from identification phase up until the testing phase. The features of this mobile application are navigation finder to locate the nearest private Quran classes by using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Location-Based Services (LBS). Users can also have manual filtering by gender and distance range, view directory listing, reminder to attend classes, user rating and chat box with the teachers. In the testing phase, The System Usability Scale has been conducted through Google Form to evaluate the usability of the application with eight users have been chosen to test the functionality of the application. In the future, this mobile application will be available for the user to have a booking class system with the class schedule to show the availability of each class.
