Web-Based Alumni System (WAS) for methodist girl’s school Kuala Lumpur / Umi Kalsom Hasan

This project is about development Web-Based Alumni System (WAS) for Methodist Girl‟s School Kuala Lumpur. The system acts as “the man in the middle” for the exMGSKL students from to keep on track with their circle of friends. By using the system, user stay keep in touch with their friends. The system also maintaining all the record in online system database which allow accessing and retrieving data efficiently. Currently, MGSKL does not have its own Alumni Association web-based system. Therefore, this system allows them to have an official web-based alumni system for their association and all alumni can access this system. Besides that, this project system gives advantage to school in the sense of keeping track of the latest personal information of alumni members. Methodology used to developing WAS is Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. RAD model is selected because it provides the abilities to quickly develop an application. The analysis of finding and result is done from the data gathered. The whole process begin from getting user requirement, analyzed it, designing according to user requirement and finally the development of the WAS itself. Finally, it is hope that this project will be beneficial to admin and alumni that can access more efficient and admin can track career of alumni more effectively.
