The 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development focuses on leaving no one behind in any nation’s growth and progress, and the emphasis is weighing on vulnerable groups being marginalized in socioeconomic development – among those are the elderly and people with disability. As the world is progressing forward at a fast-moving scale, the impact of this change affects them immensely and in ensuring their wellbeing are intact coinciding with global evolution and advancement, the importance in instituting a sustainable society has become the eminent approach to minimize the impact of those vulnerabilities. Thus, the world has recently been acquainted with the Society 5.0 together with Industry 5.0 frameworks as a juxtaposition towards sustainable and inclusive environment. Still, with economic feasibility, digital transformation and efficient productivity grounding the crux of measuring a nation’s development, there are barriers existing towards adapting these frameworks. With the current demographic transition that is shifting on a global scale, the challenges are escalated, and an exigent endeavor is needed to abate any detrimental effect. Hence, an altruistic approach based on inclusive philanthropy could render solutions to lessen the impact in dealing with issues related to ageing and disability. Therefore, this paper will provide a thorough discussion of how the inter-relationality of ageing, disability and philanthropy could construct an overarching outline in trouncing challenges towards adapting Society 5.0 and Industry 5.0 frameworks. The discussion will begin with a farreaching elucidation of these frameworks and their significance in building a sustainable society. Then, the discussion will be maneuvered towards the role pf philanthropic milieu in becoming propelling agents in thrusting towards materializing the concept of sustainable society, specifically in championing ageing and disability related issues. The role could be played in transmuting towards change by focusing on multivariate attributes, including acclimatizing human-centric values, encouraging inclusiveness and diversity, empowering transformative resilience, administering multiple-helix collaborative partnerships, and emphasizing sustainable development.
