E-Outing log management system / Izyan Syahirah Mohd Tarmizi

The project is about development of E-Outing Log Managemement System for Sekolah Agama Menengah Sungai Merab Luar (SAMSML), Sepang. Outing usually used in boarding school for student to go out for any personal purpose on a weekend when student did not return home. There are two type of outing which is normal and emergency outing. Normal outing is define when student are allowed to go out with their family if have any personal purpose including appointment with a doctor or ceremony that involves family on every weekend on Saturday and on a particular week based on school management. While, emergency outing is define when student is given the permission to go out from hostel on weekdays if has emergency cases such as death or critical ills among student’s family. Without any reasonable causes, students are not allowed to go out from school. The purpose development of this system is to help the parent, warden and HEP to manage the outing students in and out from hostel. Parent will be able to applying outing without involving any student to prevent false or dummy case on outing without the parent’s permission. Some problems that have been identified such as SAMSML which is currently using manual system that required much time to get approval for outing from Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) department and handling the report due to inconsistent data of student who are applying to go out with the outing record activity of student in and out from the hostel. This research is one of the solution to the problem occurs to the warden and HEP in handling record of student outing including normal outing and emergency outing. For normal outing students can go outing for every week on Saturday where all hostels students did not return home. Meantime, emergency outing for emergency cases only.
