MisKid: missing kid mobile application for Peninsular Malaysia / Siti Nor Aisyah Mohd Tahir

The era of Information Technology has become an important part of our basic life. Living in the community, there is a possibility that crime could happen in this technological era. For example, robbery, child abuse, kidnap that is taken care by the police. To be part of the community, people must work together and aware of the issues. MisKid mobile application is focused on spreading news about missing kids around Peninsular Malaysia. Nowadays, people prefer mobile apps because it is more practical and easier to access. MisKid also helps in enhancing the level of awareness among the community because it provides a push notification to every user. The main project objectives are to identify, design and develop MisKid mobile application. Basically, MisKid is for public usage but focus on community and it is runs on Android platform. This mobile application is in Bahasa Melayu since the language used in PDRM portal is the national language. Moreover, the methodology used to develop the MisKid mobile application is Mobile Application Development Lifecycle (MADLC).
