Abstract
The central objective of this research is to investigate how membership in PSSCM influences the intellectual, spiritual, and material growth of its members, with a particular emphasis on the leadership within PSSCM responsible for overseeing its classes throughout Malaysia. In this research, a survey was conducted among 96 active members of PSSCM to demonstrate that their participation in PSSCM has notable effects on their intellectual, spiritual, and material development. These respondents are individuals who hold supervisory roles within PSSCM classes across Malaysia, and the survey questions were designed to elicit open-ended responses. Thematic elements were extracted from these unstructured responses, which were then subjected to quantitative analysis for further investigation. The survey findings confirm that the improvement in intellectual, spiritual, and material aspects among respondents is in harmony with the principles of Madani Malaysia. Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia (PSSCM) serves as a martial arts institution in Malaysia, concurrently fostering intellectual, spiritual, and material values that align with the core tenets of Madani Malaysia's principles. The research centers on the progress of 96 PSSCM members who oversee SSCM classes in Peninsular Malaysia. The questionnaire delves into the impact of PSSCM learning on their intellectual, spiritual, and material aspects. The survey was distributed via social media and comprised open-ended questions. This study seeks to expand its scope to include more PSSCM members to demonstrate that PSSCM effectively cultivates individuals who embody the Malaysia Madani concept as proclaimed by the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. The components of association, education, and martial arts within Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia (PSSCM) have the capacity to nurture citizens who embrace the Malaysia Madani concept. It is advisable for the Malaysian government to mandate Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia (SSCM) as a co-curricular program in all schools across the country. This study marks the inaugural exploration of PSSCM's relevance to Malaysia Madani and the specific elements within PSSCM that contribute to the development of citizens who embody the Malaysia Madani concept.
