Abstract
Industrial construction has long been plagued by high accident rates, and after several years of holding the rate in check and in some cases reducing it, the rates are now increasing again. Federal and State governments, Trade unions, and Insurance companies have been extremely concerned about this state of affairs for long time. But because of the nature of these industries and the diversification of each area of work and each task performed, it has been extremely difficult to regulate and standardise methods of control for monitoring safety of the work area at the construction site and procedures. The report of case studies experimental project is to make an analysis on the safety of the work area make to identify the system safety of the constructed project in Malaysia (especially Lembah Kelang Valley) that was carried out by Contractors and other parties who are involved in the project. It also identify the rules and regulation, responsibilities and relationship for project participant; and stress the importance of concepts and practices that enhance the safety of the work area in the constructed project.
