The development of responsive web application for theme park in Malaysia (MyTPark) / Nur Hanisah Mohd Yusof

Due to the rapid advancement of technology in modern societies, a lot of people are busy with their daily life work activities. With advanced technology, they want all the information to be easily retrieved in short time period. Therefore, this project aims to develop a responsive web application for theme park in Malaysia (MyTPark) to ease visitors to search for suitable theme park to visit that meet their need, budget, and type of attraction. In addition, this web application also allows visitors to access information anywhere anytime from mobile devices taking into consideration of mobile devices features through responsive design. MyTPark web application will bring benefit to the visitor are able to search appropriate theme park based on visitor preferences, make a call direct to theme parks owner, view the maps of the theme park and able to access the web application from both desktop pc and mobile. For theme park owner, they can promote and advertise their theme park and to increase the number of visitors. Furthermore, this web application also allows recreationist able to compare the places just in one platform and directly booking the places through website. Overall, there is no doubt that this web application will be beneficial to those who are interested in visiting theme parks. The methodology used to develop the system is web development life cycle (WDLC) because it is a suitable approach that can be used to develop web-based system quickly in a structured manner. For future work, this project can be enhanced by developing the system for a mobile application platform (iOS and android).
