Abstract
A new writing device, the smart pen is nothing new in our modern technologically advancing society. This intelligent pen is currently widely utilised, particularly in the education sector because it is convenient for the students especially. The smart pen is also eco-friendly and now available for a variety of tasks, including converting handwritten notes into digital images, recording sounds, and marking on photos and documents. In this work, we also propose that the smart pen be enhanced with certain essential upgrades and features to make it more user friendly.
