Abstract
Academic stress has affected students especially in final year to complete their study because of several factors. Academic stress is a part of stress whereas the stressor is related to academic matters. The study is to examine the factors that contribute to academic stress among final year degree students at UiTM Cawangan Kedah. Among the factors that contribute to academic stress are academic workload, parental pressure and perception on examinations. This study used quantitative method and conducted through stratified random sampling technique. Total population of this study 429 students and the sample size of 205 were selected to answer the questionnaires. The questionnaire is distributed to every class representatives of each programmes since it is personally administered questionnaire. The results showed that all the factors that been selected were contribute to academic stress since there is a relationship between dependent variable and independent variables.
