Academic dishonesty (plagiarism): The factor that determine the plagiarism among university’s student / Rosmawati Saa’ri

The issue of academic dishonesty or increasing due to education becomes more sophisticated when all the brand new technologies have imparted to ease the processing of teaching and learning. But many internal and external variables that give effect towards plagiarism and most academics scholars agree that plagiarism is serious problem since a few years ago. The researcher study about
tht factor which cause plagiarism among university student, the respondent focusing on students from UiTM Kota Bharu. There are four (4) factors in this study which are lack of awareness, time management, easy access on internet and personal attitude or value. The objective of this study is to investigate what the relationship between independent variables and dependent variable. Then, this study can provide suggestions and recommendations to students,
UiTM and lecturers on how to avoid the plagiarism among student. Data were gathered from the questionnaires which were distributed to 150 respondents who are the student from UiTM Kota Bharu. The data were analyzed using SPSS through the frequencies analysis, cross tabulations, reliability analysis, mean analysis, correlation coefficients analysis and regression analysis. From the finding the
objective of the research were achieve and the researcher also stated several recommendations
